I’m Just Waiting To See Which Group Of People Obama Is Going To Exploit Next For Political Gain.
We followed up on this today in our Morning Bell. Here’s an excerpt:
Between the biographical trickery and their enemies list, President Obama’s team has engaged in tactics that put their boss above his predecessors and dangerously above his opponents. This is indeed a culture that emanates from the top.
Just last week President Obama told ABC News’ Robin Roberts in an interview: “When I think about — those soldiers or airmen or marines or — sailors who are out there fighting on my behalf…” My behalf.
Then there was also the consistent use of the pronoun “I” to describe the raid to kill Osama bin Laden. And the time, President Obama told 60 Minutes that he was our fourth greatest president ever, saying: “I would put our legislative and foreign policy accomplishments in our first two years against any president — with the possible exceptions of Johnson, F.D.R., and Lincoln — just in terms of what we’ve gotten done in modern history.”
I’m seriously waiting.
I’d initially think it would be hispanics but, considering the overall numbers of legal voters isn’t substantially huge, I would venture that he’ll return to racist politics in order to win back the Black vote he may have alienated with the gay marriage support.
Remember, for most people, a couple weeks is all you have to wait before the uninformed forget what happened in the political world just weeks prior.
America’s aging aviation force is putting America at risk. The youngest B-52 bomber rolled off the assembly line 50 years ago. Remarkably, it’s still flying.
The B-52 might be among the Air Force’s most recognizable planes. Its maiden flight was in April 1952 when President Dwight D. Eisenhower occupied the White House and the Cold War posed the greatest threat to America’s security. Today it is still flying out of Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota.
But it’s not the only aging aircraft and that’s a real problem.
JPMorgan Chase’s $2 billion trading loss is top news nationwide. But over at the U.S. Postal Service (USPS), such losses are business as usual. USPS reported a typical (for it) $3.2 billion loss for the most recent quarter. Try that comparison on for size.
Truth? Americans are fleeing the job market. The Obama Administration doesn’t want you to know that.
